Delta Community Embrace Vaccination against Yellow Fever

Residents of Udu local government area of Delta state have been enjoined to embrace the ongoing immunization against yellow fever in the state.

This is coming as a result of most people in the rural areas under the immunization age of zero to forty-four years excusing themselves as a result of traditional and religious beliefs.

Addressing residents of Udu community when the state ministry of health use the Muslim holiday to embark on vaccination exercise, the Delta state director of immunization and a director at the primary health care centre spoke on the importance.

It will be recalled that two persons were said to have died last month of the dreaded yellow fever in the community, while the vaccination will no doubt help check the spread in the community.
